Writing has become an extension of my preaching and pastoral work. Each book I write is intended to help Christians think clearly, live faithfully, and remain anchored in Scripture during changing times. I pray that each work is a blessing to those who read.

30 Years
A Father & Son Journey to Manhood
30 Years is a book written as a result of two men who entered this world as previously described. The purposes in writing this book are many. To name only a few.
First, not only to preserve some of the memories and experiences between the two but to share them with other men who might find them valuable.
Second, to offer some thoughts, experiences, and possibly some insight as to living this life while dealing with a disability. Both from the perspective of the one with the disability and from one who does not actually have the disability. I pray that whatever is found in this book will be a blessing to anyone who might be living with similar challenges.
Third, this book was written as a testimony. Not so much a testimony to Dustin Gilmer or Archie Gilmer and the kind of men they lived to be, but more intended to stand as a testimony to God and His faithfulness to all people. I pray that this book will be used to help readers to see God and His character. His faithfulness in times of trouble, hardship, suffering, as well as the good times and the blessings of living this life here in this world.

My writing reflects years of preaching, pastoral ministry, and study within the Restoration Movement tradition. While each book stands on its own, they are united by a commitment to Scripture, clarity of thought, and a desire to strengthen faithful Christian living.
